The Londonberry Lancers delighted part of the crowd that stood celebrating on 5th Ave. The band was only one of many that performed that day.
Crowds pushed up against the barricades hoping to get a better look at the festivities. Much of the street was blocked of by police and fences to better hold the crowd in.
Onlookers attempt to pass by the patrons dressed in green. But many were still harassed getting screamed at by belligerent celebrators and proud irish.
One block over the pedestiran traffic is still on overload. POlice attempt to keep things under control but that didn't stop jay walkers, and rowdy tourists from enjoying everything NYC had to offer.
Traffic waits its turn to get across Fifth Ave. during the parade. Police were careful in regulating both pedestrian and automobile traffic while the parade was going on.
